Continuing Education

Continuing education credit for this event is sponsored by The Institute for Continuing Education. Credit is awarded on a session by session basis, with full attendance required at the sessions you attend. This event offers a total of 18.00 continuing education contact hours. Contact hours offered by day are as follows: July 10, 2009: 6.00 contact hours; July 11, 2009: 6.00 contact hours; July 12, 2009: 6.00 contact hours.

The continuing education processing fee is $25.00 per person. Application forms will be available on site with complete instructions for making application for CE credit. Verification of attendance of contact hours earned will be mailed to participants following the training event and upon receipt of application form payment of the processing fee, and other required documents. Psychology

This activity is co-sponsored by Expressive Media, Inc., and The Institute for Continuing Education. Marriage-Family Therapy

The Institute for Continuing Education is recognized as a provider of continuing education by the Alabama Board of Marriage/Family Therapy and California Board of Sciences Provider PCE 636.

Drug-Alcohol

The Institute for Continuing Education is approved by the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC) to provide continuing education for alcohol and drug abuse counselors. NAADAC Provider No. 00243.

Nursing

The Institute for Continuing Education is an approved provider of continuing education in nursing by the California Board of Nursing, Provider CEP 12646. Nurses are responsible for checking with their state board to determine if credit issued through an approved provider of the CA/AL Board of Nursing is accepted for credit by their state board.

Non-Credit Events: Continuing education credit is not offered for the Panel scheduled July 10, 2009, 7:00 -9:00 p.m.; or the Film Fest, scheduled July 11, 7:30 – 10:00 p.m.
